Stavros Vardalas was born in Athens and studied law and economic sciences at the University of Athens. He received his LL.M. in European and comparative Law from the University College of the University of London and from Brunel University.

Since 1970 he is a Lawyer in Athens and since 1978 he is a serjeant at Law at the High Court and at the Council of State. He served the ACCI from 1979 to 1992 as a special scientist in legal matters and from 1992 to date, as its Legal Advisor. He speaks English and French.

He has represented ACCI in general assemblies of the Central Union of Hellenic Chambers and the European Chamber of Commerce. He has participated in several conferences in Greece and abroad focusing on commercial mediation. He has co-written the books “The election of members of the European Parliament with unanimous voting” and “The abuse of dominant position of companies according to the European and American Law”.
